Russian firm signs oil exploration pact in Cuba

HAVANA, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Russian state oil company Zarubezhneft signed
contracts with Cuba on Tuesday to search for oil in two blocks in Cuba's
portion of the Gulf of Mexico and in two onshore blocks, Cuban officials
said.

Cuba has said it may have 20 billion barrels of oil reserves in its
offshore fields, but only one test well has been drilled so far.
