IRAN BOOSTS CREDIT LINE FOR CUBA TO EURO 500 MILLION

HAVANA, Sept 9, (NNN-IRNA): The designated credit line for Cuba
increased from euro 200 million to 500 million, an Iranian trade
official said.

He made the remarks in an interview with IRNA.

The official who attended the 15th session of Iran-Cuba Joint Economic
Commission recently said that Iran increased credit line for Cuba to
euro 500 million.

Tehran had earmarked euro 200 million credit line to Havana for buying
goods and technical services from Iranian companies in the past.

This nominal figure has been allocated to buying transportation wagons,
machinery, foods and textile productions and other stuffs as well, he said.

"Cuba will export sugar and nickel to Iran, in turn," the Iranian
official told IRNA in Havana.

Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi left Tehran Tuesday
morning for a Latin American tour which took him to Cuba and Ecuador
where he reviewed issues of mutual interests with senior officials of
those countries.

Cuba is among pioneering countries in the fight against the global
arrogance and Iran always stands by such states in line with ideals of
the Islamic Revolution.
