Farm Bureau promotes Cuba trip
North Dakota Farm Bureau is promoting an opportunity to travel to Cuba.
This eight-day guided experience is open to anyone.
"Opportunities to visit the beautiful country of Cuba are rare, so we
are very pleased to be able to offer this inclusive trip," said Jeffrey
Missling, NDFB executive vice president. "Participants will have a
unique view into Cuban agriculture, industry and history. ..."
Those participating in the tour will have a professional bilingual Cuban
guide along with a tour manager. The itinerary provides a full-time
schedule of activities that result in meaningful exchanges through
people-to-people contact. A guide will take participants to the Plaza of
the Revolution, Ernest Hemingway's farm in Finca La Vigia, the home and
studio of artist Jose Fuster, a tour of the Bocoy Rum Factory, the
National Museum of Fine Arts and many other attractions.
The experience includes a one-night stay in Miami and six nights in
Havana at the Melia Habana Hotel along with 16 paid meals and other
inclusions.
The tour is offered through Premier Word Discovery/Chamber Explorations,
and it has been issued a specific license by The Department of the
Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control, which authorizes registered
guests of the program to visit Cuba legally.
This opportunity will take place July 26. Save $300 by booking the trip
before May 1.
